I find myself carrying the 36 about 14 hours a day. I kinda feel naked leaving the house without it. A small, easily concealed package with a lot of "stopping power".

I've had mine several years. No complaints at all.

Edit...I added a Lasermax internal laser to mine...love that, too!

Who took the photo with the ball ammo? Might as well get the most you can out of the weapon. Mine is full of Corbon 185 gr. JHP's. A favorite load for the .45. (My opinion)

All good guns, but I prefer the G26 to the G36. I like .45 ACP much better than 9mm, of course, but the G36 tends to want to fly out of my hand when shooting.

G26 for most warm weather carry (cargo pockets of my Tommy Hilfiger shorts), otherwise it's a Colt 1911 for me.

Being a Mass. resident is such a bummer.

No Glocks for you!

Wow, what's the law there? No CCW, no Glocks specifically, or...? That really sucks. Very silly, in the land of Lexington and Concord.

Just put a call in to my local shop for new Glock 36 pricing and to see if he would do a transfer from antoher FFL dealer and the charge for that.

Glock 21 is a great gun. Why not have a smaller one with the same ammo required.

Thanks for the thread to get me back on track with priorities.

Powerful little piece...I'm sure you know, you can switch out the .357 with a .40 cal barrel for around a hundred bucks (that was a few years ago).

It strikes me as a little odd that a non-magnum class caliber like .45acp is brought up in a thread about a serious and highly practical magnum round.

Anyway my wife noticed the .357sig Glocks before I did, a whole lot of potential there. I'd seriously like to pick up a .357sig at some point, I prefer steel frame though. Maybe rebarrel the CZ 40 Compact.

All hanguns have to be "mass compliant."

The state AG approves all handguns for sale in Mass. He has not approved any glocks. However, LEO are able to get whatever they want, and I believe many of them carry glocks.

Also, and this really bums me out, some companies choose not to sell to Mass., 'cause the law is so confusing. So, Springfield Armory refuse to sell any handguns here.

How's the recoil like on the sub-compact?

A lot less than any .357 snubby revolver...(sold my Ruger SP101) and holds 10 rounds!

Mine is quite manageable with Wolff 19# recoil springs and Hoque grip...it looks like this:

Quite accurate with Winchester 125 JHP. My wife can handle it just fine.

After watching the latest video of a bunch of gangbangers beat up some white guy in Vegas, I think it's time for some serious pocket thunder. People need to get serious about protection....
